Creation of Commissioned Artwork:
1) The client and artist discuss and select the canvas or paper size, style of artwork (paint, collage, pencil), colors, etc. for the commissioned piece. The artist works from good, clear photos emailed by the client at the highest resolutions available.
2) A quote from the artist is presented.
3) A scaled sketch for “position only” is sent to the client for approval.
4) A "work-in-progress" photo is sent to the client when the artist gets toward the end of the creation process for feedback. (More of something? Less? Just right?)
5) Local delivery of artwork is offered to the client (Within 10 miles of the artist’s studio). Payment in full is due upon delivery.
6) If the artwork needs to be shipped, payment in full will need to be in hand before packing and shipment of the commissioned piece proceeds. Packing and shipping charges are additional and can be given upon request.
Time to Completion:
Depending on the artist’s schedule at the time of the order, how large the commissioned piece is and how many changes the artwork requires, a case-by-case basis can expect anywhere between 4 to 6 weeks to complete from the date of the approved artwork.
A certificate of authenticity will be included with the original artwork as of January 2019.
